Tip: When grocery shopping and trying to pick healthy foods the one thing you should try to do when buying foods that aren’t considered produce is, check the label and make sure you know what the ingredients are. If there are things that are not whole, simple ingredients or are forms of sugars, don’t buy it. It won’t help you on your mission to a healthier lifestyle. These days, lots of chemicals are added to our foods to preserve and enhance taste but unfortunately these chemicals also cause weight gain and cancer. Know you ingredients. A great example is peanut butter; look at the labels of the different brands of peanut butter, you will see all kinds of weird oils, preservatives and additives when all peanut butter needs to be is peanuts and maybe salt.
