Tip: Having a meal prep day can make the rest of your week run smoothly and can also help you to stay on track with making healthy choices. When we feel hunger and get a craving, our bodies are really just requesting nutrients and will be much more satisfied with whole natural foods rather than the processed foods we think we have a craving for. Give it a try, next time you think you want something that is unhealthy, eat a very healthy meal and I’ll bet that craving goes away. We don’t actually crave certain foods and so once we teach our minds to give our bodies what it needs, it will diminish the idea of cravings. The idea of cravings are infiltrated into our life through commercials and billboards, try cutting out some of the places that tempt you. Streaming content such as television and music will cut out a lot of the food advertisements that confuse your mind and body.
