Tip: Foam rollers are an important part of exercising. They help to alleviate a build up of lactic acid allowing your muscles to repair themselves faster. Built up lactic acid can cause knots or long term injury to your muscles. Stretching is also helpful but nothing replaces a good foam roller. I highly suggest one that has grooves on the outside and a smooth roll that slides out from the inside. Having both options is great for days you are more sore and can’t bare to use the grooved roller.
