Tip: Anti-oxidant rich foods have a protective effect for skin. Free radicals can cause signs of aging, dry skin and tissue damage. Eating selenium rich foods can help protect your skin from these free radicals and can also help prevent skin cancer. Selenium rich foods include Brazil nuts, button mushrooms, shrimp, lamb, and fish like snapper, cod, halibut, tuna, and salmon. Cooked beef, light turkey, oysters, sardines, crab, and whole-wheat pasta also have selenium.
