Tip: Eating more can actually help you to eat less. If you pick up a bag of a hundred calorie carb rich snack, it’s likely to make you more hungry rather than satisfy you. Carbs spike your blood sugar and only make you crave more carbs. If you instead reach for something high in protein, it may be more than 100 calories but you will get full faster and stay full longer which will lead to you eating overall less calories in your day. Reach for an apple with peanut butter, it’s a great quick high protein snack and the fiber from the apple will help keep you full as well.
