Tip: Should you work out when you’re sick? So believe it or not the answer is yes, circumstantially of course. If your symptoms are above the neck, meaning cold type symptoms then yes, a good workout could help you sweat out those toxins. However, if your symptoms are below the neck you could actually make yourself worse. So a cold even with a sore throat is okay, but a fever, cough or body aches and it’s time to take a break. If you do work out while ill, please be sure to keep your germs to yourself and keep equipment sanitized for the sake of others.
