Tip: Do you ever talk yourself out of a workout because you are too tired? Sometimes we just feel sleepy and we feel that even if we did go workout, we wouldn’t get the best workout. But here’s the thing, mustering up the energy to go is half of the battle. Once you are there, even if your workout is completely half-ass it’s still better than no workout at all. You burn calories by getting up off of that couch and you burn calories by at least staying active even if it wasn’t your most intense workout. A lot of times it won’t be the awful workout you think it will be. Sometimes when we get up and get going we get a second wind and it can end up being one of your best workouts. So just muster up the energy to get out the door and take it from there. Make sure not to beat yourself up over a workout that doesn’t meet your expectations. Tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to kick some butt.
