Tip: I feel like this is a reminder we all need to hear every so often. So if you’ve heard me say it before, I’m saying it again to remind you. Don’t let a bad moment turn into a bad day. The second something goes wrong we tend to start saying things like, “it’s not my day” or “I’m having a bad day.” But why is your entire day bad because of one moment?
Start telling yourself when things don’t go your way that you are having a bad moment and remind yourself that it will pass. You don’t have to throw away an entire day based on a moment. Things are going to happen, things are going to go wrong but generally those things that happen don’t last all day. Leave it in the moment and move forward into having a wonderful day. I guarantee you, if you start doing this, you will start to see an improvement in your overall happiness. Why? Because you won’t be losing entire days over bad moments.
